Help, I still haven’t turned in my mail-in ballot
Read how to get it in before 8 p.m. or vote in person.
It’s Election Day, voting is under way and you still haven’t gotten around to filling out your mail-in ballot. Now what?
There’s still time to get your ballot in or, in the alternative, vote at the polls.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Nov. 8. Mail-in ballots must be received by 8 p.m.
Drop boxes
You can bring your filled-out, mail-in ballot to drop boxes as long as they are still open. Not all are open until 8 p.m.
In Lehigh County, the only place you can bring a mail-in ballot until 8 p.m. is the Lehigh County Election Office at the Government Center, 17 S. Seventh St., Allentown. To check locations and hours for other Lehigh County drop boxes, click here.
In Northampton, the Elections Office, 669 Washington St., Easton, is open until 8 p.m. for ballot drop offs on Nov. 8.
Also on election day, the Bethlehem City Hall drop box box will be moved to the Rotunda 10 E. Church St., Bethlehem. That box will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Click here for Northampton County drop off hours and locations.
Voting in person
You can bring your uncompleted ballot to your polling place, surrender it and sign a declaration to vote.
If you forget to bring your uncompleted ballot to the polls, you can vote provisionally – meaning your vote won’t be tallied until verified.
