Can’t wait to see tonight’s results?
You can follow the tallies yourself as the state and counties periodically post and update vote counts after the polls close at 8 p.m.
The Department of State’s site can be accessed here – election returns.pa.gov.
Site users will be able to switch between statewide and county-level results.
They will be able to customize their searches, receive timely updates, view results on mobile devices, use a location-based service through the “My County” link to instantly bring up their county’s election returns and connect to each county’s election results website. Counties also post periodic updates of results.
Due to mail-in ballot counts and write-in votes, not all unofficial final results may be known by the night’s end.
The counties will be counting at least 32,625 mail-in and absentee ballots tonight, according to state data.
Lehigh saw 23,551 ballots requested and 15,898 returned as of 8 a.m. today. Democrats returned 11,655 ballots while Republicans sent in 4,243.
Northampton received 24,654 ballot requests and 16,727 returned. The breakdown of returned ballots was 12,461 for Democrats and 4,263 for Republicans.
