How to follow tonight's results
Curious about tonight’s results?
You can follow the tallies yourself as the state and counties periodically post and update vote counts after the polls close at 8 p.m.
Here are links to results from the state and county election websites:

Northampton County
Meanwhile, Northampton County issued a press release on how it will tabulate votes.
Of important note is write-in votes. At least two candidates in Northampton have launched Republican write-in campaigns.
One is Kerry Myers, the chairman of the Northampton County Council who was removed from the Democratic ballot in District 2 over invalid signatures and now has registered as a Republican.
The other is incumbent Democrat Terry Houck who is facing former county Judge Stephen Baratta on the Democratic ballot. No candidate is running for the Republican nomination.
Here’s what the Northampton press release said:
Once the polls are closed, the absentee/mail-in ballots and Election Day data will be uploaded to the Northampton County Board of Elections website.
The write-in information will first be given as a “total” count by County and then by each individual Precinct. There will ONLY be a count of the total number of write-ins with the Unofficial Results, not a tally by name.
The list of write-in votes will be printed by Precinct and presented to the Canvass Board starting Friday, May 19. Members of the Canvass Board (one Democrat & one Republican) at each station will count and tabulate the printed write-in results from each District.
The tabulated results will then be checked by the County of Northampton Elections Board. Once complete, the Canvass Board’s unofficial results will be posted on the website.
