How to watch the Biden-Trump debate
If you haven’t decided how to watch tonight’s debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, here’s what you need to know.
The 90-minute debate will be broadcast at 9 tonight by CNN in Atlanta, with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash serving as moderators.
Besides watching the event on CNN and its affiliates (cnn.com, CNN International, CNN en Español or the streaming service Max), you can see it on other networks, including Fox News Channel, ABC News, NBC News, PBS, MSNBC, C-SPAN, Newsmax and NewsNation. They stream online as well.
The various networks will provide their own pre-and post-debate analysis. Jon Stewart, host of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, will have a post-debate show.
Public opinion polls show a close race between the two candidates in the Nov. 5 election, with the debate expected to attract a large audience. An Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll found that about 60% of American adults will watch at least part of the debate.
