J.D. Vance to stop in Berks County on Saturday
J.D. Vance, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s running mate, will appear in Berks County on Saturday afternoon to campaign for the Trump-Vance ticket.
Vance, a U.S. senator from Ohio, will be at the Berks County Fair, 2326 Hilltop Road, Leesport, at 3 p.m., the campaign announced. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.
Persons interested in going must register in advance on Trump’s campaign website.
Pennsylvania, with 19 Electoral College votes up for grabs, is a critical win for both parties in the Nov. 5 presidential election.
Gov. Tim Walz, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ running mate, will make a campaign stop in the Lehigh Valley on Saturday.
The exact time and location have not been announced, but Walz is expected to be in the Allentown/Bethlehem area sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to a post by PA Dems Harris for President.
Meanwhile, Trump is expected to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Bucks County on Sunday, according to media reports.
