Lehigh, Norco launch drop boxes for mail-in ballots
Drop boxes for mail-in ballots for the April 23 primary are now available to voters in Lehigh and Northampton counties.
Voters who have filled out ballots have the option of dropping off their envelopes in secure boxes in their respective counties.
They can also put them in the mail (outer envelopes are pre-stamped) or bring them directly to their county election office.
The deadline for registering to vote in the April 23 primary has passed, but registered voters still have time to request mail-in, absentee or overseas ballots.

Deadline to request an absentee or mail-in ballot: 5 p.m. April 16.
Deadline for receipt of absentee or mail-in ballots: 8 p.m. April 23. Ballots received via the mail the next day — even with an April 23 postmark — won’t be counted.
It is illegal to drop off more than one ballot. Certificate of designated-agent forms can be obtained to drop off a ballot of someone who is physically unable to do so. See www.vote.pa.gov for details.
