Political workshop for Lehigh Valley area conservatives set for Jan. 18
The Lehigh County Republican Committee will offer a workshop for people interested in working for conservative political causes.
The Leadership Institute will present the program, Catalyst for Change, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 18 at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays, 2750 Limestone St., North Whitehall Township.
The institute, based in Arlington, Va., offers similar programs nationwide and two years ago gave a similar workshop locally with the Lehigh County GOP.
“This training empowers you with the knowledge and skills to lead and grow your local conservative organization,” the institute noted on its website. “Learn how to build strong community connections, mobilize supporters, and effectively advocate for your conservative principles.”
Speakers are:
Collin Corbett, who in 2009 founded Cor Strategies, which has become the largest center-right political consultant in Illinois, according to the institute’s website.
Margot Crouch, a Pittsburgh native, is the Leadership Institute's grassroots deputy director. In 2022, she served as Pennsylvania central regional political director for the Oz for Senate campaign. Before that, she was deputy finance director and finance director at the Republican Party of Pennsylvania and deputy finance director of the Pennsylvania House Republican Campaign Committee.
For people who register in advance, the cost is $15, which includes a light breakfast and lunch. The cost is $20 on the day of the event.
