Voting has begun in Northampton County
Ballot-on demand now available, mail-in ballots have gone out.
The Northampton County Elections Office announces that ballot-on-demand voting is now available for the General Election.
Residents of Northampton County who are eligible to vote can come to the Elections Office, register to vote if they have not already done so, fill out a ballot application, vote on a paper ballot and turn it in all in the same visit.
Showing ID is required before you can receive your ballot.
The Elections Office is located at 669 Washington St, Easton. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Registered voters who have already applied for a mail-in ballot are not eligible for ballot-on-demand and must wait to receive their ballot in the mail.
Northampton County began sending out mail-in ballots this week.
Voters can return mail-in ballots by bringing them directly to the Elections Office, depositing them at one of the four secure ballot drop-off boxes or through the U.S. mail. Outer envelopes include postage so voters do not need to add a stamp.
The ballot drop-off boxes are available for Northampton voters to deposit their ballots starting Oct. 10 through 8 p.m. on Nov. 8 – election day.

Voters can still apply to cast mail-in ballots. The deadline to do so is 5 p.m. on Nov. 1.
Applications for mail-in or absentee ballots are available at the Northampton County Elections Office or at www.vote.pa.gov.

The voter must sign and date the outer return envelope.
The ballot must be received by the Elections Office by 8 p.m. on Nov. 8
