The deadline to register to vote is April 8. For information on how to register, click here.
The deadline to request a mail-in or absentee ballot is 5 p.m. April 16. Applications for mail-in and absentee ballots are available in the Northampton Elections Office or by clicking here.
Persons using mail-in or absentee ballots can return their ballots through the U.S. Postal Service, drop them in the secure drop boxes or hand-deliver them to the Elections Office at 669 Washington St., Easton.
Accessing the drop boxes will not require going through security.
Northampton County plans to release further details on when mail-in and absentee ballots will go out and when the drop boxes will be ready.
